People are DOing in IRAY SKIN Lately ! 

Wille it looks good and Almost photoreal in thunbnail ...

Well i Always wounder ! Why on Close Inspection ...

The Exact Same SHader lacks so much Realism on Subsurface scattering ...

Wille the problem there is not reaaly on the "Pores" ...

Is on the Bad "Subsurface Reaction to Skin Normals Porosity "

;) (Wink) 

So Basically one will need the Trick of Having a Geoshell Bellow ...

So to Drive the EPIDERMAL Scattering to higher levels to Afect Skin pores
 
Without that Affecting the Whole skin looking Wollow like wax .

Oops! 

Then another thing ...

Whatever Subsurface Settings you have ! Only Work Per Scene Setup !

( If we Change the Environment ) and Put a More BRIGHT Environment into it ...

We Are OBLIGUED to Change Subsurface Scatering Settings .... as well ...
( Thing that is not just Subsurface , but Refraction and translucency and backscatering ) 

AND THAT SHOULD NOT BE !! 

So basically we need freeking "New shader settings" Each Time we Change Scene Lightning ! 
And that is SOmething that can take Many hours ! 
I am a dummy! 

And Also Customers Will not Like it ...
Because what looks Awsome in "Our product promos" 

It will look Bad in Their Scenes ...

Wille This is a Default DazStudio IRAY Subsurface Shaders Problem ...


SO I AM STILL WORKING ON MY CUSTOM MDL SKIN SHADER ! 

Doing a new FAST SKIN Version of it ...

FAST SKIN HYPODERMIS IN IRAY by SOULSSHINE 3DD UBER FAST SKIN by SOULSSHINE



And RIGHT NOW ... I am trying to Get ways to FIX that Surface Energy Problems ...

Or At least Give Users OPTIONS to Easily Decrease / Increase ...
Subsurface ENERGY .. Casting and Absorption, and Do Gama & Exposure, Tweeks ...

Right Inside the SHADER ...

And its Freaking HARD 
To get a Solution for that ...

Because we have to do it in every single shader layer !

...


Then do Hundreds tests in Many Lightning Scenarious ...
Untill we get a "Normalized" Shader Lightning Reaction Formula ..

And then .. we need to Give users the parameters for 
shader FX Exposures / gama / Photoshop like tricks ...

And its freaking HARd to join all that -.- 
Why things are Getting a Bit Delayed "Again" on my side ...

Because when you think you have a SHader READY For Destribution ! ...  

You just Change Lightning ! And the WHole Freeking SHader ! Just Falls APART !

And we Really Have to do SOmething ABOUT IT !
